The ORGANIZED Work-At-Home Mom 3-Week Challenge ~Day 2

Welcome back to The ORGANIZED Work-At-Home Mom Challenge!  You can find the beginning of this challenge *here*.

We’re onto Day #2.  Today we’re going to design our front page or cover.  I always look forward to this part.  Even though it’s not really a practical organizing tool, it makes it more fun to personalize things!

I simply open up a word document, choose a pretty font and colors that match my binder, and include each of my family member’s names somewhere.  If you like, you can add a bit of home-related clipart.

If you’re the artsy/crafty type (which I’m not), you can take things a step further and attack it with your scrapbooking supplies.  But if that’s too much, just arrange things and print it out like I do.

Here’s what my updated one looks like.  I changed my binder a while back but have waited to change my font colors to match until now.  It’s so refreshing to have a new pretty front page to look at!

Also, I put this verse on the back to remind me how a home really becomes successful.  You can add your own favorite verse or motivational quote if you like.

  1. Sara says:

I just found your site. You have some wonderful ideas for families of all kinds to try.

I saw the names of your family and you have truly been blessed… A prophet, an angel and the 13th apostle.

Thank you for sharing your God given gifts with us. I have faith that you have been and will continue to be blessed by the Lord.

Ooh, a comment! I LOVE comments!
