I know that with mine, things get tossed between the bag or leak out the bottom sometimes. The results can be smelly without regular maintenance. So grab a rag and some cleaner (even that baking soda paste with water would work) and give it a good wipe down, inside and out. If you have an outdoor hose, that has proven the easiest place for me to clean ours. Let the can dry and enjoy that knowledge that nothing is growing down there anymore.
Next, take a just slightly damp rag and clean the surfaces, keyboards, and screens of your most commonly used electronics. Think laptops, cell phones, and television screens. If your have any oily residue (perhaps on your cellphone) a little dab of soap on the rag might help cut through that. Remember, not too much water! I don’t want this challenge to be responsible for killing any of your techie things!
